In this hands-on adventure, young explorers delve into the fascinating world of soil composition, soil health, and the bustling life of underground insects and worms. Equipped with magnifying glasses, shovels, and curiosity, they'll learn about the different components of soil and the vital role each plays in supporting plant life, including our creepy, crawly friends. Through interactive demonstrations and engaging activities, participants uncover the importance of soil health for our ecosystem and how it impacts the food we eat. As a final treat, each child gets to build their very own soil ecosystem complete with a family of creepy crawlies*! *You can choose to keep your new pets or we will gladly re-home them if desired Session price includes materials for 1-3 kids.
